Define

Idealization and product requests are brought in to the product team to review. The description and business requirements are supplied in written or illustrated format. The goal and value proposition are discussed while deciding if this is a positive opportunity for CrownPeak product growth.

Specification

Feature details and competitive analysis are the next steps to discovery. A SWOT analysis started to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved in a project or in a business venture. Upon realization of request wireframes are built and supplied for review. Feedback is given and final discussions lead to High Fidelity Designs. Product Manager will then vet the feature request to a customer for discussion.

Development

Roadmap and sprint planning are discussed to make sure the feature fits into the product plan. Developers will recieve a ticket with full details about the new feature. Development begins and progress is discussed in a daily standup.

QA / Beta

QA begins hammering the builds and reporting any bugs that are found during the development process. Based on review bugs are fixed and demo release is launched for Sales and PS to review. Field data and customer reviews lead to development of release notes and lanuch date.

QA / Rollout

Support documents are created for new product features. The new features are then added to the sales presentations to allow customer discovery and product excitement.
